Emily always had a kind heart and was willing to help any student with any issue. She always had the answer, and if she didn’t, she always knew where to get the answer. This is a complete shock, and saddens my heart deeply. Prayers to her family.

Mike, please know that my heart aches for you, the entire family, and for everyone at Wittenberg. As a former symphony board member, I had the pleasure of first knowing Emily when she worked in the SSO office. When she came to work at Wittenberg, I was overjoyed because I knew we were getting a great person for the music department. I looked forward to our weekly Friday catch up sessions with reports on Candace & Dylan or the next family trip. She connected with the students in a way that no one else could. They trusted, respected, and loved her. I am keeping you and the entire department in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate this difficult time. Kent Brooks
