WHIP, Gayle J., 85, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Oakwood Village. Gayle was born November 7, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Adlyn (Norton) Chappell. She was previously a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, John Whip; two daughters, Jody (Rod) Bishop and Beth (Jeff) Blatt; three grandchildren, Jason (Jennie) Bishop, Kelly (Rob Runkle) Blatt and Stacy (Derrick) Tillman; and four great grandchildren, Kelsey, Harley Rae, Kendall and Reid. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 - 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Gayle’s name to the Pike Township Fire and EMS.

i love you so much memeaw , i really do. im so sad on the inside knowing your gone, but your in heaven playin with the stars and clouds. i love you so much, and miss you alot. knowing your gone hurts .. and its been tearing me apart in secret. i cant it out , because its too hard. but know youll always be with me , i mean always. i wish i wouldve cared more about us being together and spending time with each other. im really sorry for eating all the pudding with papaw tho😂😂. but i love you forever, our memories are forever in my heart and mind, ill cherish you forever, and tell my kids about you when i get older, especially playing in the yard memories, and my birthdays, and everything. im aware of this being very long but , i was thinking extra hard tonight. i turn 13 tomorrow tho ( may 15th). , and you and papaw are very proud of me i know it. but im gonna get off of here.. i love you forever memaw💔
