So sorry to hear of Darst's passing, although I know he led a full and blessed life. He and Marge were the best of friends to my parents (Jim and Doris Linkhart} since high school, over 70 years. He was my favorite of all of Mom and Dad's friends. I enjoyed many conversations with him on a variety of topics. He truly loved to converse. He was a gifted speaker and a sincerely good person. I also fondly remember many of the get togethers and parties with my parents. His attendance at my Dad's funeral last summer was also much appreciated. I know he and my mom have been keeping in touch by phone lately, which has meant a lot to her. She will miss him dearly and regrets not being able to attend his service, as she is living in an assisted living facility in Cincinnati now and does not travel well. She wanted me to pass along her sincere condolences as well.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Herman. He and his wife were friends of my parents, Richard and Anita Smith (Neet and June, or Dick and Anita, as friends knew them). I met Mr. Herman once or twice as a kid. I'm guessing he knew my Dad from high school. He seemed like a very nice person.
