Many great memory of growing up with Gary in the west-end of Springfield. Most avid of which was the legend he was as a putter at the Becktle Ave Putt Putt. He grew up to be pillar of our community who will be sorely missed by his firends and the community. RIP Gary

Nikki and Family, My heartfelt condolences. Gary was truly such a wonderful person. I started my real estate career at Real Estate II many years ago and Gary was always so helpful, kind, honest and funny! I have very fond memories of him at the office. When going through homes on Thursdays he always said things like “watch your head, Fred”. He had a lot of little sayings and I remember him humming or sing a lot. My son Preston remembers him as well. He always liked Gary very much. I used to bring the kids in the office from time to time and Gary would always chat with my little guys. He was truly one of my favorite people at the office. Sending love & comfort during this difficult time. ~Christina ❤️

Nikki and family. So sorry to learn if your loss. Knew Gary for forty years professionally and personally. He sold us our house we live in now 35 years ago. Had many contacts with him professionally an as a friend. He was a top notch guy. I can’t fathom going forward without him as part of the Springfield real estate, legal and business community. Just hope and pray there were enough people in the next generation who he touched in a way so they”ll carry on in his spirit.

Dear Katie,Thor,Nikki, and family members., We have rarely met a person as wonderful as Gary. He was more than a very respected realtor, he was the most caring husband, father and grandfather. When he helped us for a couple years to find a bigger home for our expanding family he was so patient, knowlegible and he cared about each step of the process. We enjoyed talking about our family and he was so happy to share sometimes about his precious wife , daughters and family. We extend our love, sympathy and prayers to each of you. Dear Nikki and whole family. John Michael and I are so saddened at the loss of such a great man! Gary was a man of integrity, kindness, self-sacrifice, and service. He always took time to stop and listen to what was going on in our lives. He gave me the greatest advice I remember and I would tell him often. When I was contemplating being a stay-at-home mom and giving up real estate. He said Betsy the time a little quickly and you will never regret doing that. As the mother were 23-year-old I took his advice and I look back now and we have had a rich life with our son me being able to be available for school activities having our home be the one kids all came to on the weekends, and the band with to do that. His advice changed the trajectory of what I chose to do and was a positive effect on our whole family and I believe my son's friends too. He also took our son who is finishing his master's degree at Wittenberg on a whole day shadowing real estate normal day. Michael loves the time with him and the whole office and he said if I was going to work in real estate I would want to work for this man. He took him out to eat and took time with him and made it fun and was very easy to talk to and made our son feel so at ease. In fact the whole office did. I just wanted to say he impacted our life in ways that I didn't know if you guys knew. When we heard the news we were so sad and for you guys. I am glad we got to call him and leave him message and I remember getting a text back. He knew we cared. I just want you to know we care so much and are praying for you all God bless Love Betsy John and Michael Essig
