As a fledging Christian in 1988 wondering "what's next" after re-dedicating my life to Jesus, Mr. Barkley spoke six encouraging words to me after an evening service that I haven't forgotten. "God has something special for you to do." Those same words I use to those new in the faith and they still inspire me today. Thank you Jesus and thank you Junior. Blessings and comfort to you and yours Wanda. GODLOVESYOUANDSODOWE!

To my loving Grandpa, you have been my center and my spiritual guide for a great part of my life and I am so grateful for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. Always knowing my determination and strength. As a tiny child climbing that ladder to join you on the roof to overcome the fear of falling knowing you were right there for me to come down that ladder. GOD has placed those in our lives to lead and guide us to our gifts. You have been a gift to me. I could never tell or show how much. You have blessed so many and today we tell you just of those blessings. We show you the joy in knowing how GOD has taken you in his arms with JOY knowing his son has come home a worthy man on unconditional Love. Always with an open heart and open ears you listened to hear the need and prayed for GOD to guide you to the message each of us needed to hear. Not always were we open to hearing what was being said, nonetheless we were given such grace and such wisdom by you and through you. GOD Blessed us with a great leader in you. I may never be of the impact that you were, But the Lord knows my heart and knows even today I am talking to you and looking for that Guidance. For WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN! WHAT JOY THERE WILL BE!
