William W. "Bill" Edwards

Edwards, William W. "Bill", 81, of Springfield, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in his home. Bill was born October 31, 1933 in Plumerville, Arkansas the son of Otis and Sylvia (White) Edwards. He worked at Navistar for many years before retiring as a general foreman in 1989. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Agrio) Edwards; four children, William W. Edwards, Jr., Pamela and Chris Henry, Anna Stelzer and Becky Edwards; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three siblings, Arnold and Donald Edwards and Helen Jean Owen. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday in St. Teresa Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior in the church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Hospice of Miami Valley. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
