William J. Patton

PATTON, William J. "Bill", 57, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 27, 1956 the son of Oliver and Bonnie (Woodland). Bill had worked as a truck driver all his life, coached his daughters soccer and baseball teams, was a diehard Steelers fan and had a great sense of humor. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Janet (Huff); one daughter, Rachael Patton, Columbus; 3 siblings, Ken Patton, Springfield, April Fain, Springfield and Charme & Jeff Bougher, Pittsburgh, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. with Deacon Tom Pierce officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
