STUMP, William J. "Bill", 56, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born April 13, 1957 in New Lebanon, Ohio the son of William C. and Wanda (Brown) Stump. He worked as a computer I.T. tech at the University of Dayton for 31 years. Bill was a member of the Wright State University Alumni Assoc. and an avid Wright State Basketball fan. Survivors in addition to his mother, Wanda Hoke, include his wife of 23 years, Barbara (Bowman); sister, Mary Jane & Dick Brockman, Germantown and three nieces, Vicki Fugate, Mindy Milby and Ashley Erisman. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Pam Amos. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME, Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Mullinix officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wright State Legacy Scholarship or the American Heart Association.
