Cook, William H., 89, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, November 09, 2014 in his residence. William was born October 28, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio to Harold and Anna (Chambers) Koch. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and a master plumber with a vast knowledge of the plumbing industry in both sales and management. He held several patents, including that of the Flood Gate Backwater Valve. Survivors include his wife, Erika L. (Lehmann) Cook; seven children, Leanna Jane Hildebrandt, William M. (Connie) Cook, Donna Westphall, Michael Cook, Steven (Valerie) Cook, Alicia (Steve) Derrickson and Gretchen (Mark) Perkins; 18 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen Gardner; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Cook; grandson, Bradley Derrickson; and three sisters, Barbara Bryant, Esther Roe and Betty Roe. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends two hours prior, beginning at 5 p.m.
