William D. Orndorff, Jr.

Orndorff, Jr., William D., 75, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born September 28, 1939 in Springfield, OH to William Dean and Helen (Herzog) Orndorff. William owned and operated Four Season's Camp Ground in Lakeview, OH for 20 years. He was also a member of Eagles #397, the Union Club and the Moose Lodge in Lakeview. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Peggy (Wilcoxon) Orndorff; three children, Terry Orndorff, Lynn Orndorff and Chris (Scott) Lough; two step-children, Robin (Glenn) Eaton and J.R. Titus; 12 grandchildren, Ashley, Shawn, Casey, Tiffany, Trent, Amber, Cody, Scott, Zach, Adam, Adrianne, Rhian and Keifer; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay (Wally) Phenegar; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne; and a brother, Eugene. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Mullinix officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
