Knight, W. Grace (Hall), 96, of Springfield, passed away on October 2, 2015. She was born in Lawshe, Ohio on June 22, 1919, the only child of the late Lafayette Lewis and Flossie (Campton) Hall. She was a graduate of Springfield High School, class of 1937 and attended Springfield Business College. Her working career began at Crowell Collier after which she was employed as a church secretary for several years. In 1958 she was appointed Secretary to the President of Springfield Leather Products Company. She retired from there as an Executive Secretary after twenty-three years of service. She was a member of Clark County Heritage Society, Elderly United and United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James, and by special friends, Mildred Leach, Julia Ward Turner and Flossie Crabtree. Much appreciation goes to Jon and Jan Wildman, her neighbors, for helping her in so many ways and to Herb and Minnie Knight for all their help. Thanks also to Home City Federal Bank for their kind words. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Richard Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be held in the Rose Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Clark County.
