SNYDER, Virginia, 89, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her residence in Oakwood Village. She was born August 19, 1924 in Springfield the daughter of Paul and Ethel (Deam) Nagel. She had worked as a secretary for Gus & Sun for a number of years and as a realtor for Link-Hellmuth for 30 years. Virginia was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and was past president of the Springfield Business & Professional Women's Club. Survivors include her three sons and spouses, Doug (Wanda) Snyder, Springfield, Dorn (Joyce) Snyder, London and Dick Snyder, California; a daughter, Lynda Snyder, Springfield; sister, Betty Schneider, Springfield, numerous nieces and nephews and very dear and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul E. "Pickle" in January and a brother, Bill Nagel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday in St. Raphael Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League or the Alzheimer's Association. The family is being served by Conroy Funeral Home.
