Virginia "Lee" Clouse

Clouse, Virginia "Lee", 87, of Springfield, died Friday November 21, 2014 in Oakwood Village. She was born April 15, 1927 in Shawnee, Ohio the daughter of Joseph W. and Grace L. (Snider) Smock. She was raised in Somerset, Ohio where she has many family members and friends. Lee was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she attended daily mass and served as a long time sacristan. She was the devoted mother of eight children and spouses, Randy Clouse, Slidell, Louisiana, Debbie (Carl) Bumgarner, Springfield, Gerry (Pam) Clouse, Dublin, Ohio, Jeff Clouse, Therese Talley, Chris (Steve) Paul, and Pat Clouse, Springfield and daughter in law, Linda Clouse. Her 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Ralph "Barney" in 1999, a son, Rick, sister, Sister Mary Jordan, brother, Jim Smock and a grandson, Alex. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
