Vincent E. Mahoney

Mahoney, Vincent E., 59, of Springfield, died June 10, 2013 in Oakwood Village Care Center. He was born October 1, 1953 in Springfield, OH to Jack and Mary Anne (Oster) Mahoney. Vince worked for Fisher Beverage for a number of years and more recently, the last 16 years, worked at TruTec. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, graduated from Catholic Central High School and Hocking Technical College and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Survivors include two sisters, Anne Schaaf, Columbus, OH and Eileen (Will) Burba, Springfield; four brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Mahoney, Columbus, OH, Steve (Kelly) Mahoney, Vandalia, OH, Martin (Maribeth) Mahoney and Matthew Mahoney, Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Phillip. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
