Veronica "Cookie" Chaney

Chaney, Veronica "Cookie", 76, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 in Villa Springfield. She was born on February 25, 1941 in Bridgewater, Michigan the daughter of William and Thelma (Little) Powers. She was married for 30 years to Larry Chaney. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill (Diana) Mills of Westerville, Ohio; daughter, Deborah Hobbs of Galion, Ohio; two brothers, Carl and Paul Powers both of Springfield and two grandchildren, Alyssa and Zach Mills, the loves of her life. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
