Timothy F. Marshall

Marshall, Timothy F., 77, passed away at 4:04 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH. He was born in Springfield on April 23, 1940 the son of Norman and Anne (Kenney) Marshall - (David Hill). Tim grew up on the south side of Springfield, attended St. Joseph's, Catholic Central, and Springfield High School. He started working at International Harvester Lagonda Ave. after graduation and eventually served as President of UAW Local 658 until his retirement. He participated in various nonprofits and was an active member of the United Way. Tim loved his family, friends, career, birthplace and he will be missed. Survivors include his three sons and spouses, Danny (Shari) Marshall of Crested Butte, Colorado, Dave (Tracey) Marshall and Chris (Kathy) all of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Sully, Liam, Abigail, Jake and Lydia; sister Judy Willman; brothers-in-law, Chuck Moorman (Jayne) & Bob Baker all of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy in 1997. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. Friday in St. Joseph Church. His family will receive friends two hours prior, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
