Thomas W. McElroy

McElroy, Thomas W., 61, of Springfield, passed away on December 29, 2015 in his residence. Thomas was born November 9, 1954 in Springfield, OH to Richard T. and Rita B. (Mackert) McElroy. He had been employed as a machinist for various local machine shops over the course of his life. Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. (Mitchell); step-daughters, Crystal Jenkins and Rachel Jenkins; siblings, Barb Estep and Mary Weathers, Springfield, Teresa Noonan, Columbus, John McElroy, Enon, Edward McElroy, Dayton, and Jim McElroy, Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia and his brother, Richard. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Monday at the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Saint Vincent de Paul.
