Thomas L. Rose

Rose, Thomas Lee, 63, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday April 15, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Urbana on June 19, 1950 the son of Ernest and Gladys (Ferryman) Rose. He worked at the Howard Bond/Fox River Paper Mill, Urbana for 39 years. Survivors include his wife, Judith E (Woods); two children, Thomas (Kathy) Rose of Urbana and Tara (P.J.) Rodgers of South Vienna and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hannah Marie Rodgers in 2011. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday (today) in Plattsburg Cemetery with Rev. Mary Perry officiating. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
