Thomas L. Mount

MOUNT, Thomas L., 70, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 in his home. He was born in Springfield on November 10, 1943 the son of Edward and Virginia (Brannick) Mount. Tom retired from the Springfield News-Sun after 40 years working in retail advertising. He was a past Grand Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias and a US Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rose (Frock), Springfield; three children and spouses, Donna Mount and significant other, Denise Rollins, Springfield, Dawn Mount and fiancé, Charlee Howell, Huber Heights and Shawn & Melissa Mount, Fairborn; three grandchildren, Lillian, Katelyn and Kenzie; siblings, Steve & Jennie Dragoo, Mike Dragoo, Susan Lowe, Julie Dragoo, Kevin & Tina Dragoo, Diana & Jim Finn and David Mount and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great great aunt, Leona Silling. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pythian Services at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home with an additional hour of visitation starting at noon. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
