Thomas E. Palmer

PALMER, Thomas E. 81, of Springfield, passed away March 9, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1934 in Xenia the son of Clement and Ruth (Steele) Palmer. He had worked as plant manager for Morgal Machine Tool for 25 years, retiring in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Louise (Holmes); three children and spouses, Thomas E. (Lora) Palmer, Springfield, Dianne (John) Nangle, Seminole, FL and Annette (Jay Menda) Palmer, Springfield; three grandchildren, Carrie (Jared) White, Scott Nangle and Ryan Nangle; three great grandchildren, Isabel, Evan and Jenna and two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am in Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior beginning at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
