Thomas D. Aldridge

ALDRIDGE, Thomas D., 78, of Springfield, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1939 in Springfield the son of Thomas O. and Lucille (Currey) Aldridge. Tom was a 1957 graduate of Springfield High School. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #624 where he was past Grand Knight and a long time Boy Scout leader. Tom worked as a pattern maker for over 40 years in Springfield, Dayton and Columbus. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marilyn (Gnau) Aldridge; six children, Corie & Marty Fish, Springfield, OH, Tom & Twanna Aldridge, Lebanon, OH, Jeff & Mary Aldridge, Springfield, OH, Amy Aldridge, Springfield, OH, Patty Aldridge, Superior Twp., MI and Susie Aldridge, Springfield, OH; six grandchildren, Rachel, Martin, Theresa, Molly, Jake and Christine; two great grandchildren, Nathan and Erica; five sisters-in-law and spouses and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jessica Fish. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with K of C Service at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Catholic Central High School.
