Thelma Mulligan

Mulligan, Thelma, 85, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in her home. She was born in Knott County, Kentucky on July 26, 1929, the daughter of James Corbett and Maude (Howard) Madden. Survivors include her two children, Kathi Malina of Springfield and Michael Mulligan of Texas, brother, Toby Boggs, step-brother, Pete Boggs, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Owen, twin sister, Wilma, brother, Philip and son-in-law, Paul Malina. The family would like to thank Mom's caregiver and special friend, Louise Inlow, for her loving care and support. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30 in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice or Catholic Charities or Schools.
