T.E. Lamar Mickle

MICKLE, T.E. Lamar, 88, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in Villa Springfield. He was born May 22, 1926 in Springfield the son of Edward and Olive (Grove) Mickle. Lamar worked as a farmer for many years, was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a past member of F.O.E. #397. He is survived by longtime friends, Rod Hites, Jr. and Bill Powell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; five half-sisters, Sessie, May, Elizabeth, Virginia and Frances Mickle; half-brothers, Charles Mickel, Stanley Peck and long time friend, Rod Hites, Sr. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at Asbury Chapel Cemetery.
