Stephen Edward Walker, Sr.

WALKER, Sr., Stephen Edward, 69, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Villa Springfield. He was born June 28, 1947 in Springfield, OH to James and Martina (Brassel) Walker. Stephen was loved by everyone, never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh. He was also an avid OSU Buckeyes fan. Survivors include his wife, Teresa (Hogan); four children, Tina Marie Walker, Patricia Ann Walker, Stephen Edward Walker, Jr. and Daniel Joseph Walker; four grandchildren, Raymond, Javion, Daevonte and Alisha; two great grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Walker; and a niece, Mehgan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Andre Miner. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. The family would like to thank DeVita National Trail Dialysis, especially Dr. Ashan Ullah and Dr. Sanju Varghese for their exceptional care.
