Shirley A. Griffith

Griffith, Shirley A., 81, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 in the Ohio Masonic Home. Shirley was born March 11, 1933 in Springfield, OH the daughter of Floyd and Georgia (Grimm) Stout. She retired after 24 years with Springprint, and was a member of St. Joseph Church. Survivors include one brother, Harold L. Stout, New Moorefield; numerous nieces and nephews, including Hap (Barb) Pierce; great niece and great nephew, Kacey and Caleb Pierce; and her best friend, Pat Kearns. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Griffith, in 1990. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Oehlers and Community Mercy Hospice. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church.
