Dennis, Sebastian "Bus", 94, of South Charleston, formerly of Springfield, died May 7, 2013 in Villa Springfield. He was born January 6, 1919 in Springfield, OH to Dominick and Maria (Maffeo) Dennis. Bus retired as a procurement officer at WPAFB after 25 years of service. He was a former longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was in the choir, and more recently was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was also a member of the K of C Council 624, former Springfield Toastmasters and was a WW 2 Veteran of the Army-Air Corp. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mary Jane (McIntire); two sons, Anthony J. (Ann) Dennis, Cincinnati, OH and Nick S. (Rebecca) Dennis, Springfield; a stepson, Jeremy (Stacie) Letteral, Fairborn; two grandsons, Anthony William Dennis, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Drew Sebastian Dennis, Cleveland, OH; three step-grandchildren, Joseph, Megan and Katelyn; numerous nieces and nephews, including Dominick L. Dennis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kate in 1980; three sisters, Marge, Anna and Mildred; and a brother, Sabino. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday with K of C Service at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Charles Borromeo, South Charleston. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
