Scott C. McDaniel

McDaniel, Scott C., 41, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 in his home. Scott was born February 1, 1977 in Fayette County, Ohio to Butch and Mary Lou (Pierce) McDaniel. He worked for Reid Park Golf Course for several years and was a member of Pleasant View Church of Christ, Jeffersonville, OH. Survivors include his wife, Dawn (Castle) McDaniel; one daughter, Jessica (Dalton) Black; in-laws, Tim and Joy Castle; brother-in-law, Jason Castle; two uncles, Bob Pierce and Mark (Mary) Pierce; one aunt, Betsy Bell; numerous cousins; and best friends, Richard Burton, Gary Brewer, Milton Gaines, Eric Lee, Christopher Asterino and David Kestner. He was preceded in death by his parents in 2017; grandparents, Allen and Pauline McDaniel; maternal grandparents, Ross and Sally Pierce; and an aunt, Sue Anne Pierce. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery, Jeffersonville, OH.
