Sullivan, Sandra K., 71, of Springfield, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 in her home surrounded by her daughters. She was born in Springfield on January 28, 1944 the daughter of Halder and Yvonne (Lewis) Canter. She had worked as a supervisor at Bosca Leather. She was an amazing woman who had a zest for life. She was spunky, full of energy and treasured all her relationships. She enjoyed spending time with family, lunch with friends, crocheting, shopping and cooking. Survivors include her three children, Stephanie (Darryl) Elizondo, Shelly Sturgell and Susan (Steven) Gerrich all of Springfield; three step-children, Thomas Sullivan, Tricia (Butch) Faulkner all of Franklin, Ohio and Christopher (Kathleen) Sullivan of West Chester, Ohio; twin brother and spouse, Steven (Sue) Canter of Arcadia, Florida; 13 grandchildren, Christina, Patrick (Heather), Camilly (Ryan), Sydney Kay, Jessica, Cameron, Megan, Ryan, Thomas, Sam, Danny, Gloria and Lauren; 7 great grandchildren and special cousins, Michael, Earl Jr., Keith and her cat, Mimi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center and the angels who work there. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Joel Augustus officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
