Sandra Sue Knick

KNICK, Sandra Sue, 71, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in her home. She was born April 9, 1946 in Springfield the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Harris) Miller. Sandra worked as a legal secretary in Springfield for Attorneys Joe Brucker, Carl Juergens and John Juergens and later for probate court. She was an avid reader and loved being outdoors and taking care of her yard. Sandra married the love of her life, Harold Knick in 1973. She always cherished the time with her husband and her children. Sandra was an extremely selfless person, always putting others before herself, even personally caring for her husband and brother at her home during their terminal illnesses. She always took pride in herself, being smart, hardworking, funny and beautiful. She is survived by her two children, Vicki Lee & Jerry Peacock, Richmond, IN and Steven Harold Knick, Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Carolyn & Charles Bradford, Illinois; two nieces, Melissa Byrd and Jen Christianson and one nephew, David Bradford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. in 2001 and her brother, Douglas Miller in 2007. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 am on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A Graveside Service will follow 12:00 pm in Ferncliff Cemetery.
