Sandra A. Jacks

JACKS, Sandra A., 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Villa Springfield. She was born February 24, 1935 in Greenville, PA the daughter of Edward T. and Myrtle R. (Uber) Pickens. Sandra had worked as a cook for Springfield City Schools for a number of years. Survivors include seven children and spouses, Kim & Michael Roberts, Dana Jacks & Sue Cooke, Donald Jacks, Darryl & Amanda Jacks, Gary & Mindra Jacks, Traci Jacks & Bill Winget, and Debra Jacks; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Nancy & Loren Puggie, Edward Tracel, II & Joanie Pickens, Carol & Tom Duda, Edwina & Jerry Johnson and Jon Lee & Colleen Pickens and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mylie in 1991, a son, Mylie in 2006 and an infant son James "Jimmy" Weimert in 1955. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 - 6 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Alex Turner officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
