Sally Kay Strait

Strait, Sally Kay, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on April 20, 1945 the daughter of Robert M. and Betty (Morgan) Stroup. She worked at the Masonic Home for many years and was a member of Southgate Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Vernon; daughter, Christie (William) Forbes; step-daughter, Wendy (John) Mahar; brother, Donald (Trudy) Stroup; sister, Joyce (Brent Bulus) Brown; six grandchildren, Amanda (Lance) Piper, Lucy (Steven) Timko, Billy, John and Thomas Forbes and Keylin Strait; two great grandchildren, Layla, Colton and Adalynn Piper and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric Strait and step-son, Jeff Strait. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Jason Naill officiating. Burial will be held in Vale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
