Ruth L. Lee

Lee, Ruth L., 83, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Hearth and Home on Harding Road. She was born in Springfield on June 2, 1934 the daughter of John and Ruth (Haley) Casey. She worked as a unit secretary at Mercy Medical Center for many years. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, St.Vincent de Paul Society and was a 1952 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Survivors include her three children and spouses, Kelley (Keith) Koehler, Kerry Lee Pedraza and Miguel Pedraza, Casey (Nikki) Lee all of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Mollie (John) Raster, Casey and Brian Koehler, Bridget (Cuyler) Doane, Brennan (Tiffany) Pedraza, Isabelle and Audrey Lee; four great grandchildren, Declan Doane, Rosemary Raster, Callen Donald Pedraza and Caroline Pedraza; brother and sister-in-law, William (Joanne) Casey; many nieces and nephews and special lifelong friend, Martha "Pud" Wobbe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2014; three sisters, Betty Hughel, Mary Brust and Patricia Siratt and her brother, John Casey. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Hearth and Home and Hospice of the Miami Valley. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church, United Way of Clark, Champaign and Madison Counties or the Clark County Historical Society.
