Ruth Inskeep

Ruth I Inskeep, 78, of South Vienna, went to be with The Lord on February 20, 2013 and joined her late husband, Jim Inskeep, in eternal life. They had been married for 53 years. Ruth was born August 10, 1934 in Bookwalter, OH to parents Wade H. and Ruth A. (Ellars) McClaskie. She worked as a salesperson at Wren's Department Store for a number of years. She is survived by her beloved sons, Mike (& LeeAnn) Inskeep and Pat (& Tonja) Inskeep. Ruthie adored her three grandchildren Jessica (& Mark) Snively, Joanna (& Jessie) Mefford and Mike Inskeep. The light of her life and what she boasted about daily was her 5 great-grandchildren - Hannah, Addisyn, Caleb, Luke and Levi. The great grandkids lovingly called her "Inskweep." She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ruthie worked out three times a week at Step Up Rehab in Springfield, OH. She cherished the friendships she made with her workout family, particularly the love and companionship with her dear friend and mentor Dr. Narinder Saini. Ruthie also had a very special relationship with her neighbors who took good care of her. She was a feisty woman with a very special spirit and a devoted Buckeye fan. The family will receive friends at the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Step Up Rehab - 1303 W. First St., Springfield, OH.
