Ruth E. Williams

Williams, Ruth E., 83, of Springfield, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Clark Memorial Home. Ruth was born on March 9, 1933 in Springfield to Paul L and Louise D. (Beard) Snapp. In prior years, she had been employed as a Pharmacy Technician for Super X Drug Store. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and was an avid golfer at Locust Hills for many years. Survivors include three children, Debbie Cook of Springfield, Denise (Steve) Federle of South Solon and David (Peggy) Williams of Beavercreek; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Tom) Tayloe of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, in 2010. The family would like to express their appreciation to Forest Glen, Clark Memorial and Community Mercy Hospice. Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one and a half hours prior starting at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Honor Flight of Clark County.
