Ruth A. Sanders

SANDERS, Ruth A., 80, of Springfield, passed away January 9, 2015 in Heartland of Springfield. She was born April 14, 1934 in Springfield the daughter of Floyd and Thelma (Dye) Speary. Ruth had worked as a florist for Ulery's Greenhouse for over 30 years and was a member of the Hillside Church of God. Survivors include four children and spouses, Steve (Connie) Sanders, Brenda (William) Staples, Lauren (Timothy) Burk and Phillip (Mandy) Sanders; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1960. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 11 am to 12 pm. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
