Roseamond M. Massie

Massie, Roseamond M., 90, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Forest Glen Health Campus. Roseamond was born January 12, 1923 in Springfield, OH to I. John and Elizabeth (Frye) Sutch. She retired from Robbins & Myers after 30 years of service and was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church. Survivors include three children, Sharon (Dan) Fogarty, Julia (Jim) Lafferty and Laura (David) Cattell; four grandchildren, Dan (Martha) Fogarty, Matthew (Nobuko) Fogarty, Jason (Cindy) Vollmer and Ryan (Lisa) Humphrey; five great grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. in 1996, one great grandson, and 9 brothers and sisters. The family would like to give a special thanks to Forest Glen and Gentiva Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one ½ hour prior in the church. Burial will be at St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Forest Glen Health Campus or Gentiva Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements handled by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
