Rose Risteff

Risteff, Rose (Ruza), 91, of Springfield, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in her home. She was born in Stenia, Yugoslavia on May 21, 1925 the daughter of Steve and Anna (Calendroff) Ristoff. Survivors include her two children and spouses, John (Jovan) and Diana Risteff of Vero Beach, Florida and Millie (Melitza) and Craig Schulz of Springfield; three grandchildren; three great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Krume "Karl" Risteff in 2002. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. James Rohrer officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to MPO, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Our Lady of Kazan Russian Orthodox Church, Urbana, Ohio or Community Mercy Hospice.
