Rose Ann McFarland

McFarland, Rose Ann, 86, of Springfield, passed away November 23, 2018 in the Glaesner Center at Oakwood Village. She was born October 29, 1932 in Springfield, OH to Paul W. and Helen M. (Bennett) Burke. In her earlier years, Rose Ann enjoyed cooking for her family, collecting dolls, and sewing. She was very sentimental and she valued time spent with family and friends. Rose Ann was a switchboard operator for Mercy Medical Center for over 20 years. She is survived by three children, Connie (Larry) Martin, Daniel McFarland and Susan Daly; three grandchildren, Dustin (Kathleen) Martin; Danielle (Perry) Roeser; Ryan Daly (Kelly); five great grandchildren, Austen, Aiden, Liam, Natalee and Nick; two sisters, Loretta (Bill) Murray, Hilliard, OH, Ruth Burke, Scottsdale, AZ, two brothers, Bob (Carole) Burke, Phoenix, AZ, Tom (Dorothy) Burke, Prescott, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin in 1993 and six siblings. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
