Roger Newman

Newman, Roger L., 72, of Springfield, died June 2, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born November 4, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to H. Paul and Juanita J. (Peterman) Newman. Roger was employed as a Layout Inspector for Navistar for 37 years, retiring in 2004. He served in the United States Air Force and was member of Knights of Pythias Ingomar Lodge # 610. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Peggie S. (Ellis), 3 children John P. (Linda) Newman of Springfield, Paula S. Newman of Grove City, Ohio, Susan Rowe of Buckeye Lake, Ohio; four grandchildren, Leslie and Carla Newman, Christian and Brianna Rowe; a sister Merle (Jack) Caudill of Urbana, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday with K of P Services at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Rev. Bill Blain officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Cemetery.
