Roger E. German

GERMAN, Roger E., 85, of Springfield, died on July 9, 2015 at the Forest Glen Health Campus. He was born February 6, 1930 in Springfield, OH to Horace J. German and Ruth Hazel (Britcher). He is survived by three daughters, Vicki Brooks, Cindy (Dave) Metzger and Kathy (Marc) Rising; two grandchildren, Kirsten (John) Keplar and Maria Rising; two great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Harris, nephew, Dr. Gary Johnson; two great-nieces, Dr. Amy Cotton and Dr. Jennifer Giglia and their children. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law. Roger was in the Air Force as a mechanic, later worked for Coke Bottling Plant and Ohio School Supply. He loved taking cruises, playing euchre and cribbage. A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Springfield, OH.
