Roberta B. Hockman

HOCKMAN, Roberta B., 90, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 with her family present. She was born November 22, 1923 in Cass County, Indiana the daughter of James E. and Nanette (Bell) Kingery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Irene & Jim Newton; daughters-in-law, Lesa Hockman and Joan Hockman; sisters, Phyllis Reed and Mildred Diveley; grandchildren, Michael & Laura, Anna & Brian, Chris & Heather, James & Rhonda and Jacob & Kierstan; goddaughter, Sharon Warren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul; her sons, Robert and John; her parents and her brother, Robert. We were blessed to have her sparkling eyes and her loving presence in our lives. By example she taught us how to enjoy life, endure and preserve. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers you may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
