Goodfellow, Robert Warren, 76, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. Robert was born May 14, 1940 in Springfield to Charles Scott and Jeanne E. (Beard) Goodfellow. He was a 1958 graduate of Greenon High School, and later retired as a truck driver for Kenosha Auto Transport after 35 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and also served as the Greenon High School class historian, was a charter member of Greenon FFA and was a member of the Greenon Alumni Association. He was also a past Clark County Apiary Inspector, a Teamster, President of College Hill Neighborhood, volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul, volunteered at the Springfield Soup Kitchen and an avid O.S.U. Basketball and Football fan. His final gift to help others was being a tissue donor. Survivors include his wife, Alice R. (Meyer) Goodfellow; four daughters, Christina D. (John) Makowski, Clarissa E. Goodfellow, Coleen T. (William) Edwards and Charity Ann (Anthony) Conner; seven grandchildren, Ciaran, Meghan and Gwyneth Edwards, and Maura, Mathias and Genevieve Conner and Alicia Makowski; three siblings, Carolyn (Richard) Gartner, Wayne Goodfellow and Gordon Goodfellow and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister, Donna. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Catholic Church with Fr. Eric Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Plattsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry or the Springfield Soup Kitchen.
