Robert P. Taylor

TAYLOR, Robert P. "Bob", 81, of Springfield passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 in Forest Glen. He was born September 20, 1931 in Springfield the son of Leland and Marie (McNeil) Taylor. Bob was the owner of Taylor Electronics in Metairie, Louisiana for over 28 years. He was a United States Air Force veteran having been stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi. Survivors include his wife of ten years, Fay (Estopinal), Springfield; one brother, Joseph P. Taylor, Springfield; two nephews, Joey & Mary and Stephen "Boo" Taylor and one great niece, Monica Taylor. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace in 2001 and a sister, Rita. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Ed Gearhart officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Catholic Central High School Scholarship Fund.
