Robert P. DiMichele

DiMichele, Robert Paul, 87, of Springfield, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 surrounded by family. He was born in Steubenville, OH on February 10, 1927 the son of Andrew and Leona (Della Torre) DiMichele. Bob was retired from GM and Navistar, and was an avid golfer. He loved having family over on Sundays to watch sports and have Italian food. Survivors include three children, Robert W. (Linda) DiMichele, Jeff DiMichele, both of Springfield, and Andrea (Todd) Beenders, Fort Worth, TX; 12 grandchildren, Jenny, Nick, Brent, Aaron, Jon, Cody, Jesse, Marcy, Olyvia, April, Zach and Levi; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" in 2011. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
