Robert L. "Brownie" Brown

Brown, Robert L. "Brownie", 78, of Springfield and formerly of Lima, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati on January 7, 1936 the son of James and Inez Brown. He retired from International Harvester after 29 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Martha (Clemens) Brown; son, Robert J. (Cindy) Brown of Florida and four grandchildren; nephew, Ralph (Kate) Brown of California; step-son, Dan (Tenasup) Moore of Gahanna and grandson, Scott (Caroline) Moore and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Warren, sister, Edna and brother, Ralph. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ferncliff Cemetery with Rev. Scott Griswold officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Church of South Vienna.
