RANDALL, Robert H., 82, of Springfield, died peacefully August 25, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was the son of Harold and Margaret (Beach) Randall. Robert was an Electrical Engineer at WPAFB, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the Moose Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) and the Ancient Mystic Order of Samaritans (AMOS). He loved golfing, bowling and was an active member of the Springfield Museum of Art where he spent many hours with his best friend, Paul Reif, painting and sculpting. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Jackson) and all ten children he parented, Heather (Wade) Jordan, Aimee Culp, Doug McCoy, Tim (Shawn) McCoy, Vicki Brooks of Columbus, Cindy (Dave) Metzger, Kathy (Marc) Rising of Michigan, Barb Morris of Lakeview, OH, Karen (Scott) Orr of Urbana and Colleen (Jim) Wooten of New Carlisle; brother, David Randall of Springfield; brother-in-law, Joseph Jackson; loving grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabrielle, Tayla, Christopher, Kirsten, Sandy, Maria, Abbey, Brenna, Ian, Travis, Britt, Dustin, Nikki, Davey, Shelly, Seth, MacKenzie and Kaylie; ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Rose (VanGundy) Randall. The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Springfield Regional, The James Cancer Center at OSU and Forest Glen Health Campus and Hospice of Miami Valley for all the loving care and compassion they bestowed on Bob and all his family during this very difficult time. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 5pm-8pm on Monday. A funeral service will be held and 12:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to The James Cancer Center at The Ohio State University or the Springfield Museum of Art.
