Robert H. Cherubini

CHERUBINI, Robert H., 81, of North Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Springfield, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 in Good Shepherd Village. He was born June 3, 1932 in Columbus the son of Henry and Ethel Cherubini. Bob retired from International Harvester after more than 35 years. He was a 1951 graduate of Springfield High School, a longtime member of Northwood Hills Country Club and a member of Six Lakes Country Club and First Christian Church in North Fort Myers, Florida, where he currently resided. Survivors include his three children and spouses, Diana & Joe Juergens, Springfield, Rick & Kathy Cherubini, Centerville and Randy & Amee Cherubini, Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Ben (Jessica) Kuss, Valerie McKinney, A.J. and Eric Cherubini and Jack and Julia Cherubini; three great grandchildren, Dante, Anthony and Julia; one sister, Donna Dean, Springfield; one brother, Marco (Marilyn) Cherubini, Florida; good friend, Phil Post and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn in 2004 and a son Robert Jr. in 2007. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Chaplain Chuck Healy officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospise.
