Cooper, Robert F. "Bob", 83, of Yellow Springs, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Hospice of Dayton. Robert was born October 10, 1932 in Muskegon, MI to Andrew and Margaret (Smalley) Cooper. He was employed as a Nuclear Engineer for Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 31 years, and was a member of Faith Community United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Geraldine (Shimmin) Cooper; two children, Linda (Rick) Johannes and Vicki Cooper; five grandchildren, Jarrod Johannes, Marisa (Jimmy) Evans, Brandon Miller, Nicholas Miller and Jessica Miller; four great grandchildren, Cooper, Lainey and Dane Evans, and Annaleigh Johannes; and three brothers, Richard, James (Rosemary) and Thomas Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles; and a sister, Carol. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
