Robert E. "Bob" McGraw

McGraw, Robert E. "Bob", 71, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Bob was born January 15, 1946 in London, Ohio to Leonard and Betty (Bennett) McGraw. He was a graduate of Southeastern High School. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy where he served in Vietnam and was awarded The Purple Heart. He then worked at Navistar, retiring in 2004. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Janie; four children, Lisa, Will, Joe and Timmy; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He fought a courageous 7 month battle with lung cancer and is now with God. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Orbie Estep officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Asbury Chapel Cemetery.
