Eisman, Rita, 74, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2016. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, daughter of William and Kathryn (Strunk) Lay. She is survived by her loving husband, Sandy Eisman; her daughters, Briget (Cornelison) Forsythe and her husband Gary, Kandy (Cornelison) Simison and husband Ron; her dearly loved grandchildren, Asia Simison, Cole Forsythe, Olivia Forsythe and Mont Wilkerson; and many nieces, nephews, family, and special friends. She was a retired Social Worker for the Clark County Department of Human Services. Upon being diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome she and her husband were volunteers with the National Marfan Foundation for 30 years, leading workshops for couples dealing with chronic illness. For many years at the Clark State Health Fair she provided awareness of Marfan Syndrome, a potentially fatal disorder if not diagnosed and treated in early stages. She will be remembered for her positive attitude, kind spirit and brave heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tony Cornelison and brothers, Bob, Larry, Jerry, Paul and Darrell Lay. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
